It’s great to know that we can go into a village confident that every child will receive a full set of clothes and no one is left out!

Targets are great, they serve as a motivation to keep going, setting high targets makes you think more creatively than you normally would, it’s a process that not only develops and grows you but also stretches your mindset, causes you to break limitations and set new records! I think of some of the campaigns and ‘random’ strategies we’ve implemented, like doing presentations in the Commonwealth bank e.t.c. and I think, ‘wow’! Even though it was scary at first, we went ahead, faced our fears and did anyway!

So go on, if you haven’t already, set some goals for the year ahead, whether it’s for your business, personal, family, sports club. Give yourself something to aim for. And while your at it, remember, dream BIG! Committ to it, believe in your goals, be creative, get out of your comfort zone, push yourself and remember ‘All things are possible to those who BELIEVE!’

#PVBSCorporate (inspired by mentor and friend Joel Newland)  Is a branch of our apparel brand that partners with corporate organizations to raise awareness for global poverty, increase an organization’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and to promote the PVBS brand to see more children clothed through our ‘Clothing The Nakid’ vision.

Within two weeks of our campaign, the feedback from the businesses have been beyond our expectations! Our first  partners are the Commonwealth, Box Hill branch. Daniel the manager was very generous and supportive, even giving us the opportunity to set up our banner and merchandise inside their branch to do our presentation and sell too! Overall it was a great experience and heaps of fun connecting with people from  different backgrounds yet all passionate about the cause and the opportunity to help others!

This is just the beginning of #PVBS Corporate. Our goal in 2012 is to reach (minimum)1500 staff in the corporate workforce to establish partnerships with their organization’s/company’s. Why?? So we can see more smiles on the faces of precious children in Cambodia! It’s simple, the more partnerships, the more children’s lives being changed!

Every company we’ll be partnering with will be receiving framed photos from our trips to Cambodia of the children they have provided clothing for, we’re then encouraging businesses to display the photos in a visible place so that it not only boosts the Social responsibility of the company but we believe it will brighten up the work environment!

Full of challenges, ups and downs, but how else do you grow and become stronger in life??!  so overall it’s been a GREAT year!!

Since our last blog, there has a been a few changes I wish to highlight:

Firstly, We have re-branded and changed our name (tag line) ‘Inspired Apparel’ to ‘Clothing The Nakid’.

We believe the name compliments the new direction and vision perfectly. So now with every PVBS apparel YOU purchase, YOU fully clothe a kid in need! In July this year we were able to clothe an entire village in Cambodia.

Currently our tally is 241 and our next trip is in Feb 2012, our target is to provide clothing for 400 kids. With your help and support we can achieve this, so this Christmas, we encourage you all to include a PVBS T shirt as gift and help us, help others.

We’re so pumped! It’s absolute honour and a blessing to give hope to these precious kid’s in Cambodia.

Last week, the ever active and dashing young co-founder of PVBS; Eric Agyeman, was out and about with his friend and mentor Sam Cawthorn (2009 Young Australian of the Year Recipient – Tasmania) who happened to be going past Fox FM’s studios in Melbourne to catch up with Hamish and Andy. Eric was along for the ride, got the opportunity to hang put with the boys and throw a couple of Tees their way. Safe to say both Hamish and Andy were pretty stoked about the tees, so much so in fact that they decided to wear the Tees while filming The 7pm Project last friday night!

Hamish is wearing the ‘Real Men’ tee on the left and Andy’s rocking the ‘Just Walk’ tee on the right. Pretty sure you guys need to head on over to the store and grab one for yourself!
