Last week, the ever active and dashing young co-founder of PVBS; Eric Agyeman, was out and about with his friend and mentor Sam Cawthorn (2009 Young Australian of the Year Recipient – Tasmania) who happened to be going past Fox FM’s studios in Melbourne to catch up with Hamish and Andy. Eric was along for the ride, got the opportunity to hang put with the boys and throw a couple of Tees their way. Safe to say both Hamish and Andy were pretty stoked about the tees, so much so in fact that they decided to wear the Tees while filming The 7pm Project last friday night!

Hamish is wearing the ‘Real Men’ tee on the left and Andy’s rocking the ‘Just Walk’ tee on the right. Pretty sure you guys need to head on over to the store and grab one for yourself! Got a pretty THOROUGH news update coming your way…it’s been a pretty full-on couple of months! so here goes…

PVBS have partnered with Activate church to help drive their community projects. i58 is all about reaching out to the local community and helping out where ever help is needed. The project also is part of a community centre which they have setup that serves as a hub for people to come and connect with friendly people, talk, chat, hang out and be themselves! PVBS has had the privilege  to design the T-Shirts for i58 which are being sold to promote and spread the word, but also proceeds from sales also go towards supporting the church, as well as our partner The Babes Project. PlanetUNI

We’re also SUPER excited to announce that we’re partnering with PlanetUNI! PlanetUNI is part of Planetshakers Church, and serve as a collection of young and eager universtity students ready to take on and change the world! This incredible opportunity came about through Rachel Lee (one of our incredible designers) who is heavily involved with PlanetUNI, and after meeting with the head honcho Ps Matt Feilder, we’ve decided to join them on their journey for a better world! PlanetUNI has approximately 1200 university students, ready to do their part in the local community and help others. The first event is taking place at the end of July, called ‘It’s Time’. A mini conference for all PlanetUNI members, being held to launch a whole bunch of awesome community projects, and PVBS will be producing T-Shirts for the event to help promote and activate young hearts and minds! We recently attended a PlanetUNI event where our partnership was formally announced, and we’re extremely excited for what this relationship will produce! We’ll keep you posted!

PVBS Video Shoot

Recently we shot a promo video for PVBS. The aim of the video is to promote PVBS, but also showcase some creative diversity and encapsulate what PVBS is all about. It was shot and directed by our good friend Ailen Palmieri who is an AMAZINGLY talented young filmmaker. It was shot at a production studio in downtown Melbourne, and  the video will be finished very soon, as it’s currently being edited, but stay tuned for it! We’ve also got planned a major video shoot for sometime in August, which will shed more light on our vision and the overall plan, so we’ll be calling on models too! Thanks for another week of awesome support and encouragement! We’ve had some great developments in the last few weeks, with doors of great opportunity opening up for us in all areas of promotion, marketing and print/design. We’re gearing up for some awesome new T’s to be released in coming weeks, so keep your eyes and ears pealed!

Tonight, the PVBS Team sat down for several hours to work out our final designs and strategies for the coming weeks. It was a long few hours, with plenty of high-tension moments and ‘agree-to-disagree’s…..well actually there weren’t any of those moments, it was actually quite productive. But after spending several hours locked in my room working it all out, we decided to let our hair down and share our ‘meeting minutes’ with you guys…via video!
