Change begins with a small step….

 In a developing country like Cambodia, where there is no sophisticated technology, it’s the small things that make a big difference in a kid’s life, such as a full set of clothing.

The Challenge

We’ve all seen photos and videos of the poverty in these countries. If you look closely enough there are always kids who either are poorly clothed or have nothing at all.

On a recent trip to Cambodia, we witnessed kids running around in the scorching heat with little or no clothing. We had an incredible opportunity to provide full sets of clothes to young children living in the village called, Kattambang. With each set there was a smile and with a smile, these kids had hope for something more.

For most of the kids, it was their first time receiving new clothes, for others they now had footwear to roam freely and play safely, their mothers beaming with smiles. We left with photos and overwhelming testimonies of the impact of our giving, something we will never forget.

The life changing feed back challenged us to make it our social responsibility to continue going back into Cambodia (and later on, other parts of the world) to give clothes to our future world changers, kids!
